Patient-reported outcome measures have become increasingly important in modern physiotherapy, both in clinical practice and research. These instruments provide structured insight into the patient’s own experience of function, symptoms, quality of life, and coping, and complement clinical findings that do not always capture how patients manage in their daily lives. When used appropriately, patient-reported outcome measures can strengthen clinical reasoning and improve the quality of decision-making throughout the rehabilitation process.
